Kenvi

Privacy policy

Lunar Crest Pty Ltd · Last updated 26 August 2026

Kenvi has no servers of its own and no account to create. This page is the same privacy statement shown inside the app, published here so it can be read before installing. The two are kept in step: what the app says about your data is what this page says.

Your privacy, simply stated

What you record about your home is stored on your device and, when your device is signed into iCloud, kept in step across your devices through your own iCloud account. It goes to your iCloud and nowhere else — we never receive it and cannot see it.

What we store

Everything you add to Kenvi — your properties, spaces, items, photos, documents and reminders — is stored in a database on your device.

When sync is on, that information is also held in the private area of your personal iCloud account, so it appears on your other devices signed in with the same Apple Account. That copy lives in your iCloud storage, under your Apple Account, and is covered by Apple's iCloud terms. Lunar Crest Pty Ltd holds no account, no key and no server that your information passes through.

We do not collect analytics, crash reports, usage statistics or any other telemetry. There is no sign-in and no data is sent to us.

iCloud sync

Sync follows your device. It is on whenever you are signed into iCloud with iCloud Drive turned on for Kenvi, and there is no separate switch inside the app.

To stop syncing, turn Kenvi off under Settings → your name → iCloud on your device. The app keeps working and everything already on that device stays on it.

Data stored in iCloud is encrypted in transit and at rest. For details of how Apple secures iCloud data, see Apple's iCloud security documentation. What we can say without qualification is that we never hold your information at any point.

Camera and Photos

When you attach a photo to an item, space or document, Kenvi asks for camera or photo library access. Photos are downscaled and kept as part of your home inventory — on your device, and in your own iCloud when sync is on. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Scanning, text recognition and AI object recognition all run on your device, using Apple's Vision and on-device language models. No image and no scanned text is sent to a cloud service to be processed.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Kenvi schedules local alerts on your device for warranty expiry and service reminders. Local notifications are delivered by iOS without any data leaving your device. You can turn them off at any time in Settings → Notifications or within the app.

When sync is on, Apple's servers also send your device a silent signal that something in your iCloud has changed, so the app knows to fetch it. That signal carries none of your content and never reaches us.

No analytics, no tracking

Kenvi contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising frameworks and no tracking code of any kind. We do not share your data with any third parties because we never receive it in the first place.

This page follows the same rule: it is a static page that loads no scripts, no fonts and no resources from anyone, and it sets no cookies.

Children

Kenvi is a home management tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Questions?

If you have questions about how Kenvi handles your data, please contact us through the support option in Kenvi's Settings. This statement may be updated from time to time; the current version is always available on this page and inside the installed app.
